Silken tofu fried with tamarind sauce recipe

The silken tofu resembles the white tofu. The silk comes from production method in the past. They are used silk to filter the soy milk to get the soft tofu has a smooth texture and absorb water. The silken is suitable for making soup or steaming with heat and eaten with sauce or soy sauce. You can add nutrients and flavor of foods with this soy product. A highlight of it is extra soft flesh.

Ingredient of silken tofu fried with tamarind sauce recipe

Silken tofu 1 pack
Corn flour 1 cup
Minced garlic 2 tablespoons
Fry shallots 1/2 cup.
Chopped coriander root 1 tablespoon
Palm sugar 5 tablespoons
Tamarind juice 1/4 cup
Fish sauce 2 tablespoons
Salt 1/2 tsp
Fryed Bird's eye chilli (Chili pepper,Red pepper) 4-5 seeds
White and black sesame seeds 1/4 cup
Vegetable oil for frying
Spring onions and cilantro for garnish

How do of silken tofu fried with tamarind sauce recipe

Cut the silken tofu into pieces as you like and mix with cornstarch and black and white sesame seeds, bring it to fry one at a time until this soy products is golden in the medium heat (if using high heat, it will break the Silken tofu)

How to make the sauce 

Fry the garlic and celery root is fragrant and season with fish sauce, palm sugar, tamarind juice and salt, simmer until thick and pour the tofu and topped with fried shallot, fried bird's eye chilli, spring onions and coriander
